The Last Day

One day a group of scientists came up with an idea to improve learning by building a school without distractions. The building would not have any windows, and the walls would be soundproof. All subjects would be held in a single classroom, taught by a single teacher. To reduce distractions, no televisions or radios were allowed in the school.

The idea for the new school was passed, and the experimental school was built. Classes began soon after. The students did worse than they had previously, but their poor performance was attributed to the difference between the systems, and the students would soon adapt.

After a single week of classes, the students were well prepared for their weekend. Earlier that morning the weather was nice and sunny, but over the course of the day, it began to grow worse. Finally, a tornado formed. Without knowing the condition of the weather, the class was released.

The students hurriedly ran out the doors as the tornado passed, consuming students and buildings. All that was heard were the student’s screams.
